Darren Gregory's surgery went great, it lasted close to 10 hours, and I was able to see him in his room after 12:30 am Monday. I also had the opportunity to meet and speak with Dr. Ojo of U of M CF Clinic who was very excited to finally meet me, and encouraged the MPDCI to continue hosting X-plant dinners to encourage others investigating the transplant process to ask questions, see others post transplant and the lives they are now living (without CF), etc. She was a real encouragement to me as a supporter of MPDCI's programs with Lung Transplant Support.  Looks like there is one more successful lung transplant and more importantly, another person to share his personal story with the CF Community to encourage those interested in pursuing "a new life without CF in the lungs." Mark GammonMPDCI X-plant support director
